Females: 5’ 8” to 6’ 0” — Dress Sizes 0–4
Stylist will be on-site to verify height and size measurements for designer requirements. Please be within these ranges.
Although there is no monetary compensation for the models at this particular Spring event, it will offer tremendous exposure and experience to those who participate. Models will also get the chance to be evaluated for PFW’s fall fashion week.
PFW will take place as part of the Better Living Show (“BLS”) (www.betterlivingshow.org). BLS is the Pacific Northwest's largest sustainable lifestyle show, taking place from March 28–30 at the Portland Expo Center, and is being opened by Ed Begley Jr. Anticipated attendance at BLS is 15,000.
PFW’s show on the 29th will feature a panel of distinguished speakers in the green movement and the eco-responsible fashion world. Established and respected green designers will feature looks from their next-season’s collections on live models in an installation format, giving press and audience the chance for extended looks at designers’ lines.
In its third year under PFW Productions, LLC, Portland Fashion Week has experienced explosive growth in its notoriety and coverage, attracting designers and press not only locally, but from Europe, New York, Los Angeles, and across the country. PFW models have recently been featured in 3 and 4 page spreads in two issues of World Book Moda, the “bible” of international runway periodicals out of Italy, as well as SVD Sweden, The Oregonian, Portland Tribune, multiple local print and television coverage, countless fashion-reporting websites, etc. It is a great opportunity for both live-eye and published exposure for Portland models!
