Fashionistas’ Ball

An “awareness” raiser bringing to light the plight of the sexually trafficked and abused within the modeling industry.

This event is the most important fashion related event to ever come out of Portland, OR.

Our Executive Producer has created hundreds of events for over 2 decades, including being the founder, writer and original Executive Producer of the Portland Fashion and Style Awards and has been warning the community about nefarious individuals posing as professionals in Portland for far too long. With little if any heed.

SHAME on those within the Portland fashion community turning blind eyes! Now models have been abused, trafficked and THEIR characters brought into bearing by not only the perpetrators but their supporters, wannabes, and hangers-on! It is NOW time to bring to light those responsible however we will let the victims themselves have that honor, and honor soon to be received.

A great deal more information will become public as we proceed, BUT expect a night of Portland Fashion unlike any other. Dress to the 9’s, bring your smile and show support bringing awareness to the plight of the trafficked. Food, Beverages, DJ, Dancing, Guest Speakers and some BIG named VIPs will all be there! FREE Admission and all ages as well!

As of this writing, PFW is helping, along with a few key individuals wishing to remain anonymous, in strengthening existing legislation putting more bite and teeth into what is already law. Long story short when the proposed bill came through proper channels but was tabled due to calendar restraints until 2024, however upon learning of it an overwhelming number of both Oregon Senators and State Representatives working together not only resurrected, but fast tracked the bill adding even more strength to it while new Oregon Governor Tina Kotek said she would sign the second that it crossed her desk! THE GREATEST OF SUCCESS!

So in appreciation to all who stood behind the driving force we are hosting the Portland Fashion Week Fashionistas’ Ball, slated now as annual event opening the series, setting a stage for those who love to dress, and bringing awareness to those causes most in need.

Cheers to your support and cheers to fashion!
