Miss Oregon comes home!

Sophia makes Top Ten at Miss America!

Next Stop: Back HOME!

We are thrilled that Sophia is coming home to Oregon, where she will continue doing her important work for Sparrow Clubs of Oregon, The Children's Cancer Association and making appearances across the state. Sophia made the top 10 at Miss America, and performed her talent on stage during the final competition. This marks only the third time in the history of the Miss Oregon Program that Miss Oregon has placed in the top 10 for 2 years in a row. We could not be more proud of Sophia and her incredible representation as Miss Oregon at Miss America.

A Humble Ask for your Consideration

We need your help! Every year over $130,000 in scholarships are awarded through the Miss Oregon Scholarship Program, building on seven decades of women leaders and scholars across the country.

Miss Oregon’s mission is to prepare great women for the world, and prepare the world for great women. The women involved in Miss Oregon candidates—from our local competitions to the national stage— have the chance to earn both cash and in-kind scholarships in fields ranging from law to medicine to athletics. Help us grow the opportunities presented to these outstanding women for years to come.

With many organizations and worthy causes to consider, we thank you for your support of The Oregon Legacy Scholarship Foundation and the thousands of women who continue to benefit from our educational opportunities.

The Oregon Legacy Scholarship Foundation is the non-profit entity that exists to manage all scholarships earned through the Miss Oregon Scholarship Organization. As a 501(c)(3) organization Donations to the Oregon Legacy Scholarship Foundation are tax deductible. (EIN #86-1971704)
